Ranson Photography McAllen TX - Rio Grande Valley
Hi, and welcome to our site dedicated to our magical Santa sessions. We are entering our 20th year of photographing children and families for the Christmas holidays. We have had years to streamline, and add to the excitement that has become expected at Ranson Photography.
We hold our longer storybook sessions on Saturdays, and our shorter 10 minute mini-sessions during weekdays. Please call Cliff at 956.631.6843 to schedule your session.
Weekend storybook sessions take about 20-30 minutes to get all the necessary scenes we need to fill your book. When you schedule your session on Saturdays, you are committing to the purchase of our featured product.
Weekday sessions are 10 minutes and you get to select two of your favorite scenes that you would like to share with Santa. These sessions are designed for Christmas card and wall portrait orders.

Scenes for 2024

What if my child is too small and might be afraid.
Come ready to enjoy the session with them. We have found that from 1-3 yrs are the most iffy with small children. If you can sit and hold them, you might be able to slip out after they become comfortable.

What if my child has allergies.
Please let us know if your child has any allergies to regular milk and chocolate chip cookies. We can provide soy milk, or you may bring your own, safe alternative.

What if we don't have a chimney?
Here is an idea: Leave him a key! Santa can let himself in with a special key only he can use. Have your child make your own using any old key. Add sequins, ribbon, and paper. Have them write out: "Dear Santa, we don't have a chimney as you can plainly see, but we still want you to visit, so here is your magic key!" Tie the note to the key, and loop the ribbon around the front doorknob.
